Unsere AI Development-Abteilung dient als Katalysator für Data & AI Transformation. Dabei setzen wir auf eine ganzheitliche Herangehensweise, die von der initialen Evaluierung der KI-Reife über die Konzeption und Ausarbeitung der Daten- und KI-Lösung bis hin zur praktischen Umsetzung und Skalierung von KI-Lösungen reicht. Durch unsere tiefgehende Expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning sorgen wir dafür, dass unsere Kunden den maximalen Nutzen aus ihren Daten ziehen.

Deine Aufgaben

Im Rahmen von Kundenprojekten konzipierst du Generative AI & NLP Systeme, die Kundenprobleme und Use Cases im Hinblick auf Performance, Latenz, Kosten, Erweiterbarkeit und Komplexität optimal abdecken
Im Rahmen deiner Tätigkeit stehst du dabei regelmäßig mit diversen Stakeholdern und Kundenvertreter:innen im engen Austausch
Du agierst als Projektentwickler:in, Subject-Matter-Expert:in oder Technical Lead und beschäftigst dich mit vielfältigen Use Cases wie z.B. Knowledge Management mit Retrieval Augmented Chatbots oder Fine-Tuning von Sprachmodellen zur Effizienzsteigerung einer NLP Pipeline bzw. Verarbeitung domänenspezifischer Sprache
Du implementierst robuste, erweiterbare und performante ML Pipelines nach aktuellen ML Ops bzw. LLM-Ops Best Practices und arbeitest dabei auf verschiedenen Infrastrukturen (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Weiterhin unterstützt du bei der Entwicklung von Produkten und der Weiterentwicklung unseres Angebotsportfolios und wirkst an der Erstellung von Marketing-Content mit
Um unseren Kunden die besten Lösungen anbieten zu können, nimmst du dir darüber hinaus Zeit die neusten Entwicklungen im Bereich NLP und KI (z.B. zu Repositories, Methoden, Tools, Paper) zu verfolgen und auf dem aktuellen Stand zu bleiben

Dein Profil

Umfangreiche Kenntnisse im Bereich Machine Learning & Deep Learning, insbesondere im Hinblick auf Transformers, LLMs und generative KI
Erfahrung in der Anwendung gängiger Tools und Methoden für die Bearbeitung von NLP Use-Cases wie z.B. HuggingFace Transformers, OpenAI APIs, SentenceTransformers, Tokenizers, Deployment, Inferenzserver und Datensatzerstellung
Erfahrung im produktiven Einsatz von ML Frameworks, insbesondere PyTorch
Kenntnis von, und idealerweise praktische Erfahrung mit State-of-the-Art Ansätzen wie z.B. QLoRA PEFT, automatisches Prompt Engineering, Open-Source Modelle, Code LLMs, Multimodalansätze, IFT und Datensatzgenerierung (self-/evol-instruct, Orca), etc.
Fähigkeit sauberen, performanten und erweiterbaren Code zu schreiben und in Produktion zu bringen
Erste Erfahrung mit Cloud Deployments und ML Ops z.B. auf Azure, GCP oder AWS
Du bist kommunikationsstark, bringst sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse mit (mind. auf C1-Niveau) und bist in der Lage, komplexe Sachverhalte zielgruppengerecht aufzubereiten und wiederzugeben
Darüber hinaus zeichnest du dich durch deine Zuverlässigkeit sowie gründliche und strukturierte Arbeitsweise aus
Weiterhin hast du Freude an gelegentlichen Dienstreisen zu unseren Kunden vor Ort in DE/AT/CH

Our AI Development department serves as a facilitator for Data & AI transformation. We are taking a holistic approach, from the initial evaluation of AI maturity, through the design and development of data and AI solutions, to the practical implementation and scaling of AI solutions. Through our deep expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, we ensure that our clients gain the maximum value from their data.

Your tasks

You will design generative AI & NLP systems, that optimally cover customer problems and use cases in terms of performance, latency, costs, extensibility and complexity, within the scope of customer projects
Consequently, you will have close contact with various stakeholders and representatives of our customers on a regular basis
You will act as a project developer, subject matter expert or technical lead and deal with various use cases, e.g., knowledge management with retrieval augmented chatbots or fine-tuning of language models to increase the efficiency of an NLP pipeline / processing of domain-specific language
As part of your work, you will implement robust, extensible, and performant ML pipelines according to current ML Ops or LLM-Ops best practices, working on different infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Furthermore, you will support the development of products and of our offering portfolio and contribute to the creation of marketing content
In order to offer the best solutions to our customers, you will also take time to follow the latest developments in the field of NLP and AI (e.g., on repositories, methods, tools, papers) and stay up to date

Your profile

Extensive knowledge in Machine Learning & Deep Learning, especially with respect to Transformers, LLMs and generative AI
Experience in applying common tools and methods for handling NLP use-cases such as HuggingFace Transformers, OpenAI APIs, SentenceTransformers, Tokenizers, deployment, inference servers, and dataset creation
Experience in productive use of ML frameworks, especially PyTorch
Knowledge of, and ideally hands-on experience with, state-of-the-art approaches such as QLoRA PEFT, automated prompt engineering, open-source models, code LLMs, multimodal approaches, IFT and dataset generation (self-/evol-instruct, Orca), etc.
Ability to write clean, performant, and extensible code and get it into production
Initial experience with cloud deployments and ML Ops e.g., on Azure, GCP, or AWS
You should also be a strong communicator, have very good German and English skills (at least C1 level), and be able to prepare and present complex issues in a way that is appropriate for the respective target group (business, tech)
In addition, you should be reliable and work in a thorough and structured manner
Lastly, you should enjoy occasional business trips to our customers on site in DE/AT/CH
