Unsere AI Development-Abteilung dient als Katalysator für Data & AI Transformation. Dabei setzen wir auf eine ganzheitliche Herangehensweise, die von der initialen Evaluierung der KI-Reife über die Konzeption und Ausarbeitung der Daten- und KI-Lösung bis hin zur praktischen Umsetzung und Skalierung von KI-Lösungen reicht. Durch unsere tiefgehende Expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning sorgen wir dafür, dass unsere Kunden den maximalen Nutzen aus ihren Daten ziehen.

Deine Aufgaben

Als (Senior-)Berater:in und Entwickler:in arbeitest du eigenständig an verschiedenen Data-Science-Projekten für unsere Kunden
Du leitest Data-Science-Projekte und setzt sie mit einem Fokus auf Zeitreihendaten um, zum Beispiel für Forecasting, Predictive Maintenance und Anomaly Detection
Du entwickelst und implementierst fortschrittliche Forecasting-Lösungen, indem du ein breites Spektrum an Machine-Learning-Methoden einsetzt - von statistischen Modellen wie ARIMA bis hin zu modernen Deep-Learning-Techniken wie LSTM und Transformern und anderen zukunftsweisenden Ansätzen
Du arbeitest eng mit unseren Kunden und Stakeholdern zusammen, um deren Anforderungen zu verstehen und optimal umzusetzen
Du agierst als Projektentwickler:in, Fachexpert:in oder Technical Lead und bearbeitest verschiedene Use Cases, wie z.B. Nachfrageprognosen zur Supply-Chain-Optimierung, Predictive Maintenance mit Zeitreihensensordaten oder das Feintuning von Multi-Horizon-Vorhersagemodellen zur Steigerung von Genauigkeit und Effizienz
Du implementierst robuste, erweiterbare und leistungsstarke ML-Pipelines gemäß aktuellen ML Ops-Best-Practices
Du treibst die Weiterentwicklung unseres Angebotportfolios voran und unterstützt aktiv die Akquise neuer Projekte in enger Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Sales-Team

Dein Profil

Du verfügst über einen Abschluss in einem quantitativen Bereich wie Data Science, Statistik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Mathematik, Informatik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet
Du bringst mehr als 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in Data Science mit einem starken Fokus auf Zeitreihenanalyse und -prognosen mit
Du besitzt fundierte Kenntnisse in Python für Datenanalyse und Modellentwicklung
Du bist bestens vertraut mit modernen Machine-Learning-Ansätzen wie Transformer-basierten Modellen, Recurrent Neural Networks (einschließlich LSTM-Varianten), Foundation Models für Zeitreihen
Du besitzt Kenntnisse in fortgeschrittenen Methoden wie hierarchischer Reconciliation, Cold-Start-Lösungen, fortschrittlichen Normalisierungstechniken und Attentionmechanismen - idealerweise untermauert durch praktische Erfahrung
Du hast Erfahrung im Umgang mit Cloud-Plattformen wie z.B. Azure, AWS oder GCP und bringst vorzugsweise Erfahrung mit, wie man Modelle erfolgreich in Produktionsumgebungen bereitstellt
Du bist kommunikationsstark und sprichst sehr gut Englisch und Deutsch (mind. C1-Niveau), damit du sowohl unsere englisch- als auch ausschließlich deutschsprachigen Kunden bestmöglich beraten kannst
Du kommunizierst technische Lösungen verständlich an Business-Nutzer:innen und hast Freude daran, Geschäftsprozesse zu analysieren
Weiterhin bist du offen für gelegentlichen Dienstreisen zu unseren Kunden vor Ort in DE/AT/CH

Our AI Development department serves as a facilitator for Data & AI transformation. We are taking a holistic approach, from the initial evaluation of AI maturity, through the design and development of data and AI solutions, to the practical implementation and scaling of AI solutions. Through our deep expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, we ensure that our clients gain the maximum value from their data.

Your tasks

As both a (Senior) Consultant and a Developer, you will work independently on a variety of data science projects for our major customers
You will lead and execute data science projects with a focus on time-series data, such as forecasting, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection
You will design and implement advanced time-series models by applying a variety of machine learning techniques, from traditional statistical approaches like ARIMA to cutting-edge deep learning architectures such as LSTM and transformers, along with other state-of-the-art methodologies
Consequently, you will have close contact with various stakeholders and representatives of our customers on a regular basis
You will act as a project developer, subject matter expert, or technical lead and deal with various use cases, e.g., demand forecasting for supply chain optimization, predictive maintenance using time-series sensor data, or fine-tuning multi-horizon forecasting models to enhance accuracy and efficiency
As part of your work, you will implement robust, extensible, and performant ML pipelines according to current ML Ops best practices
Furthermore, you will support the development of our offering portfolio and participate in the acquisition of projects alongside our sales team

Your profile

You have a degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
You bring over 3 years of professional experience in data science, with a strong focus on time-series analysis and forecasting
You have solid expertise in Python for data analysis and model development
You bring knowledge of, and ideally hands-on experience with, state-of-the-art models such as Transformer-based models, Recurrent Neural Networks (including LSTM variants), foundation models for time series,
You have experience as advanced techniques like hierarchical reconciliation, cold-start problems, advanced normalization strategies, and attention mechanisms
You have experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and preferably have experience in deploying models successfully into production environments
You are a strong communicator and possess very good German and English skills (at least C1 level), as you will be advising both English-speaking clients and clients who only speak German
You have experience presenting insights and solutions to business users and a keen interest in understanding business processes to align technical outcomes with organizational needs
Additionally, you are open to occasional business trips to visit our clients on-site in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
