Unsere AI Development-Abteilung dient als Katalysator für Data & AI Transformation. Dabei setzen wir auf eine ganzheitliche Herangehensweise, die von der initialen Evaluierung der KI-Reife über die Konzeption und Ausarbeitung der Daten- und KI-Lösung bis hin zur praktischen Umsetzung und Skalierung von KI-Lösungen reicht. Durch unsere tiefgehende Expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning sorgen wir dafür, dass unsere Kunden den maximalen Nutzen aus ihren Daten ziehen.

Deine Aufgaben

Du unterstützt unsere Projektteams bei der Umsetzung von Data-Science-Projekten für namhafte Kunden mit einem Fokus auf Zeitreihendaten wie Forecasting, Predictive Maintenance und Anomalieerkennung
Du wirkst bei der Konzeption und Umsetzung von Zeitreihenmodellen mit, von klassischen statistischen Verfahren (z. B. ARIMA) bis hin zu modernen Machine-Learning-Techniken (z. B. Gradient Boosting, Deep Learning)
Du unterstützt beim Aufbau und bei der Implementierung von ML-Pipelines anhand von Best Practices-Beispielen für wartbare und skalierbare Lösungen
Du arbeitest eng mit erfahrenen Consultants und Entwicklern zusammen und erhältst Einblicke in unterschiedliche Anwendungsfälle wie Bedarfsprognosen in Lieferketten, Predictive Maintenance auf Sensordaten oder Multi-Horizon-Forecasting
Du bist in die Aufbereitung und Präsentation von Ergebnissen für Business-Stakeholder eingebunden, mit Unterstützung durch erfahrene Kolleg:innen
Du entwickelst deine technischen und beratenden Fähigkeiten kontinuierlich durch praktische Projektarbeit, Mentoring und strukturierte Lernformate weiter

Dein Profil

Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium in einem quantitativen Fachbereich, z. B. Data Science, Statistik, Volkswirtschaftslehre, Mathematik, Informatik oder einem verwandten Studiengang
Du bringst erste praktische Erfahrung im Bereich Data Science mit, idealerweise durch Praktika, Werkstudenten-Tätigkeiten oder 1–3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einem relevanten Umfeld
Du verfügst über sehr gute Kenntnisse in Python für Datenanalyse und Modellentwicklung
Du hast erste Erfahrung mit Zeitreihenmodellen (ARIMA/ETS/Prophet) oder ML-/DL-gestütztem Forecasting (LightGBM, LSTM) gesammelt und Interesse an neueren Methoden wie N-HiTS, N-BEATSx, TFT sowie Foundation Models wie Moirai, TinyTimeMixers oder TiRex
Du bist motiviert, deine Expertise in Forecasting, Anomalieerkennung und Zeitreihenmodellierung weiter zu vertiefen und möchtest fortgeschrittene Methoden wie Transformer-Modelle oder hierarchisches Forecasting kennenlernen
Du hast idealerweise bereits erste Berührungspunkte mit Cloud-Plattformen (Azure, AWS oder GCP) und/oder dem Deployment von Modellen gesammelt
Du bist kommunikationsstark und verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mindestens C1-Niveau), da du mit deutschsprachigen und internationalen Kunden zusammenarbeiten wirst
Du bist neugierig, proaktiv und interessiert an der Arbeit in einem dynamischen Beratungsumfeld. Gelegentliche Dienstreisen zu Kunden in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz gehören zur Rolle dazu

Your tasks

As a (Junior) Consultant, you will support our project teams in delivering data science projects for major clients, with a focus on time-series data such as forecasting, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection
You will contribute to the design and implementation of time-series models, ranging from traditional statistical approaches (e.g., ARIMA) to modern machine learning techniques (e.g., gradient boosting, deep learning)
You will help build and implement ML pipelines, learning best practices for maintainable and scalable solutions
You will collaborate closely with experienced consultants and developers, gaining exposure to different use cases such as demand forecasting in supply chains, predictive maintenance on sensor data, or multi-horizon forecasting
You will be involved in the preparation and presentation of results to business stakeholders, with guidance from senior colleagues
You will continuously develop your technical and consulting skills through hands-on project work, mentoring, and structured learning

Your profile

You hold a degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
You have first practical experience in data science, ideally through internships, working student roles, or 1–3 years of full-time work in a relevant environment
You bring very good knowledge of Python for data analysis and model development
You have first experience with time-series (ARIMA/ETS/Prophet) or ML/DL forecasting (LightGBM, LSTM), and interest in newer methods (N-HiTS/N-BEATSx, TFT) and foundation models (Moirai, TinyTimeMixers, TiRex)
You are motivated to deepen your expertise in forecasting, anomaly detection, and time-series modeling, and to learn about advanced methods such as transformer models and hierarchical forecasting
Ideally, you have had first exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and/or deployment of models into production environments
You are a strong communicator and possess very good German and English skills (at least C1 level), as you will work with both German-speaking and international clients
You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a consulting environment, occasional business trips to clients in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are part of the role
