Unser AI Strategy-Team unterstützt unsere Kunden bei der Konzeption und Implementierung ihrer Daten- & KI-Strategie. Dabei verfolgen wir stets das Ziel, die volle Ausschöpfung des Potenzials von Daten, Data Science und KI zu ermöglichen. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Kunden nehmen wir unterschiedlichste Arten von strategischen Herausforderungen an, von der initialen Bestimmung des AI-Reifegrades, über die Formulierung der Daten- & KI-Strategie, bis zur Entwicklung und Implementierung neuer Betriebsmodelle.

Deine Aufgaben

Du arbeitest an der Schnittstelle zwischen Business und Technologie und entwickelst umfassende Datenstrategien, Betriebsmodelle, Governance-Strukturen und Roadmaps, die Unternehmen befähigen, datengetrieben zu arbeiten
Du analysierst den Status quo, definierst eine Datenvision sowie strategische Ziele und leitest daraus konkrete Initiativen wie Data Products, Use Cases oder Data Capabilities ab
Du konzipierst Daten-Betriebsmodelle inklusive Rollen (z. B. Data Owners, Stewards), Prozessen und Tools und unterstützt deren Implementierung
Du gestaltest und verfeinerst Data-Governance-Frameworks und begleitest Kunden beim Aufbau skalierbarer Standards und Strukturen
Du führst konzeptionelle Diskussionen zur Datenarchitektur und fungierst als Bindeglied zwischen Kundenseite und technischen Spezialisten unserer Entwicklungsabteilung
Du bereitest Workshops und Management-Präsentationen vor und moderierst diese souverän.
Du bewertest aktuelle Entwicklungen im Bereich KI hinsichtlich ihrer Auswirkungen auf Datenstrategien und integrierst diese in deine Empfehlungen

Zusätzliche Aufgaben als Senior Tech Consultant

End-to-End-Leitung von Data-Strategy-Projekten oder größeren Workstreams (Scope, Vorgehen, Deliverables, Qualität, Steuerung).
Agieren als vertrauenswürdiger Sparringspartner für Senior Stakeholder zu Themen rund um Datenstrategie und Betriebsmodelle.
Weiterentwicklung und Ausgestaltung von Data-Strategy-Ansätzen und -Frameworks innerhalb unseres Unternehmens sowie Sicherstellung ihrer konsistenten Anwendung in Projekten.
Sichtbare Rolle in der Business-Development-Aktivität (z. B. Identifizieren von Chancen, Mitarbeit an Angeboten, Mitentwicklung von Data-Strategy-Services).
Mentoring und Coaching von Junior-Kollegen sowie Förderung einer Wissenskultur rund um Datenstrategie und Governance.

Dein Profil

Masterabschluss in (Wirtschafts-)Informatik, Betriebswirtschaft, Data Science, Volkswirtschaft oder einem vergleichbaren Fach
Mindestens 2+ Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung im Bereich Datenstrategie, Datenmanagement oder Data Governance – idealerweise im Consulting oder in einer strategischen Rolle in der Industrie
Praktische Erfahrung in einem oder mehreren der folgenden Bereiche
- Entwicklung von Datenstrategien und Roadmaps
- Design und Implementierung von Data Governance
- Datenmanagement (z. B. Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Master Data Management)
- Konzeption von Datenbetriebsmodellen und Datenrollen
- Definition und Priorisierung von Data Use Cases / Data Products
Fundiertes Verständnis moderner Datenplattformen und -architekturen und deren Rolle bei der Ermöglichung von Datenstrategien
Ausgeprägtes konzeptionelles und strukturiertes Denken; du hast Freude daran, komplexe Datenlandschaften und organisatorische Strukturen in klare Frameworks und Handlungsoptionen zu überführen
Sicheres Stakeholder-Management und überzeugende Kommunikation; du fühlst dich sowohl im Business- als auch im IT-Umfeld wohl
Consulting-Mindset: Du übernimmst Verantwortung, kannst mit Ambiguität umgehen und arbeitest gerne kollaborativ in kundennahen Teams

Working closely with our clients, we take on a wide variety of strategic challenges, from the initial determination of the AI maturity level and the formulation of the data & AI strategy to the development and implementation of new operating models.

Your tasks

You operate at the interface of business and technology and develop comprehensive data strategies, operating models, governance structures, and roadmaps that enable companies to operate in a data-driven manner
You analyze the status quo, define a data vision as well as strategic goals, and derive concrete initiatives such as data products, use cases, or data capabilities
You design data operating models including roles (e.g., Data Owners, Stewards), processes, and tools and support their implementation
You design and refine data governance frameworks and support clients in building scalable standards and structures
You lead conceptual discussions on data architecture and act as a link between the client side and the technical specialists in our development department
You prepare workshops and management presentations and moderate them confidently
You evaluate current developments in the field of AI with regard to their impact on data strategies and integrate these into your recommendations

Additional responsibilities as Senior Tech Consultant

Lead data strategy projects or major workstreams end-to-end (scope, approach, deliverables, quality, steering)
Act as a trusted advisor on data strategy and operating model topics for senior client stakeholders.
Shape data strategy approaches and frameworks within our company and ensure their consistent application across projects
Take a visible role in business development (e.g., identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals, co-developing offerings in data strategy)
Mentor and coach more junior colleagues and foster a culture of knowledge sharing on data strategy and governance

Your profile

Master’s degree in (business) informatics, business administration, data science, economics, or a comparable field
At least 2+ years of relevant professional experience in the field of data strategy, data management, or data governance – ideally in consulting or a strategy-focused role in industry
Practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- development of data strategies and roadmaps
- design and implementation of data governance
- data management (e.g., data quality management, metadata management, master data management)
- design of data operating models and data roles
- definition and prioritization of data use cases / data products
Solid understanding of modern data platforms and architectures and how these enable data strategies
Strong conceptual and structured thinking; you enjoy turning complex data landscapes and organizational setups into clear frameworks and options
Confident stakeholder management and communication skills; you are comfortable working with both business and IT stakeholders
A consulting mindset: you take ownership, are comfortable with ambiguity, and enjoy working collaboratively in client-facing teams
Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English

Additional requirements as Senior Tech Consultant

4+ years of relevant experience with a clear focus on data strategy, data governance, or data management
Proven track record leading projects or substantial workstreams
Experience acting as a sparring partner for senior stakeholders on data-related strategic decisions
Experience in business development (e.g., proposal work, shaping new offerings, thought leadership) is a plus
High level of autonomy and confidence in representing our perspective on data
The role and both levels require verified German language skills at a minimum of C1 level.
