Unsere AI Development-Abteilung dient als Katalysator für Data & AI Transformation. Dabei setzen wir auf eine ganzheitliche Herangehensweise, die von der initialen Evaluierung der KI-Reife über die Konzeption und Ausarbeitung der Daten- und KI-Lösung bis hin zur praktischen Umsetzung und Skalierung von KI-Lösungen reicht. Durch unsere tiefgehende Expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning sorgen wir dafür, dass unsere Kunden den maximalen Nutzen aus ihren Daten ziehen.

Deine Aufgaben

Du agierst als fachlicher Experte und Force Multiplier für NLP-, LLM- und Agenten-Themen, unterstützt mehrere Projekte parallel, berätst Kolleginnen und Kollegen und wirkst bei Akquise und fachlicher Positionierung mit
Du übernimmst die End-to-End-Verantwortung für ein oder mehrere fachliche Schwerpunktthemen im Bereich NLP und Generative KI und fungierst als erste fachliche Anlaufstelle
Du arbeitest als Technical Lead auf anspruchsvollen Kundenprojekten und konzipierst Generative-AI- und NLP-Systeme, die Kundenanforderungen hinsichtlich Performance, Latenz, Kosten, Skalierbarkeit und Komplexität optimal adressieren
Du stimmst dich regelmäßig mit internen Stakeholdern und Kundenvertretern ab, präsentierst technische Lösungskonzepte und übernimmst die fachliche Kommunikation im Rahmen von Angebots- und Akquiseprozessen
Du leitest weniger erfahrene Teammitglieder fachlich an, unterstützt ihre Arbeit aktiv und gibst konstruktives Feedback sowie Mentoring
Du unterstützt die Weiterentwicklung interner Produkte, wirkst am Ausbau unseres Serviceportfolios mit und bringst dich bei der Erstellung fachlicher Marketing- und Thought-Leadership-Inhalte ein
Du verfolgst kontinuierlich aktuelle Entwicklungen im Bereich NLP und KI, z. B. neue Methoden, Tools, Frameworks und Forschungsergebnisse, und bringst dieses Wissen gezielt in Projekte und Kundenlösungen ein

Dein Profil

Du verfügst über mindestens fünf Jahre fundierte Berufserfahrung im Bereich Data Science, NLP, Machine Learning oder Generative KI
Du besitzt tiefgehende Expertise in NLP- und LLM-basierten Systemen und hast diese bereits produktiv in komplexen Anwendungsfällen eingesetzt
Du bringst umfangreiche Erfahrung mit gängigen Tools, Frameworks und Methoden für NLP- und LLM-Use-Cases mit, z. B. LLM-APIs, Agent-Frameworks, Vektordatenbanken, Retrieval-Ansätze und Evaluationsmethoden
Du hast sehr gute Kenntnisse in modernen ML-Frameworks wie PyTorch und Erfahrung mit Fine-Tuning-, Post-Training- und Inference-Optimierungsverfahren
Du bist in der Lage, sauberen, performanten und skalierbaren Code zu entwickeln und KI-Systeme zuverlässig in den Produktivbetrieb zu überführen
Du hast Erfahrung mit Cloud-basierten Architekturen sowie MLOps- und Deployment-Workflows auf Plattformen wie Azure, AWS oder GCP
Du trittst sicher als technische Ansprechperson gegenüber Kunden auf und kannst komplexe Sachverhalte adressatengerecht für technische und fachliche Zielgruppen kommunizieren
Du arbeitest sehr strukturiert, vorausschauend und eigenverantwortlich und behältst auch bei hoher Komplexität den Überblick
Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse mindestens auf C1-Niveau

Our AI Development department serves as a facilitator for Data & AI transformation. We are taking a holistic approach, from the initial evaluation of AI maturity, through the design and development of data and AI solutions, to the practical implementation and scaling of AI solutions. Through our deep expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, we ensure that our clients gain the maximum value from their data.

Your tasks

You act as a subject matter expert and force multiplier for NLP, LLM, and agent-based systems, supporting multiple projects in parallel, advising team members, and contributing to acquisition and technical positioning
You take end-to-end ownership of one or more focus topics in the NLP and Generative AI domain and serve as the primary technical point of contact
You work as a technical lead on high-impact customer projects and design Generative AI and NLP systems that address customer challenges in terms of performance, latency, cost, scalability, and overall system complexity
You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and customer representatives, present technical solution concepts, and handle technical communication during proposal and acquisition phases
You guide less experienced team members, actively support their work, and provide constructive feedback and mentorship
You contribute to internal product development, help expand our service portfolio, and support the creation of technical marketing and thought leadership content
You continuously track developments in NLP and AI, including new methods, tools, frameworks, and research, and apply this knowledge to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to customers

Your profile

You bring at least five years of hands-on professional experience in data science, NLP, machine learning, or generative AI
You have deep expertise in NLP- and LLM-based systems and have applied them successfully in complex, production-grade use cases
You have strong experience with common tools, frameworks, and methods for NLP and LLM use cases, including LLM APIs, agent frameworks, vector databases, retrieval approaches, and evaluation techniques
You have solid experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch and with fine-tuning, post-training, and inference-time optimization techniques
You are able to write clean, performant, and scalable code and reliably bring AI systems into production
You have experience designing cloud-based architectures and working with MLOps and deployment workflows on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
You are confident acting as a technical counterpart to customers and can communicate complex topics effectively to both technical and business audiences
You work in a highly structured, proactive, and independent manner and remain effective in complex project environments
You have very good German and English skills at least at C1 level
