Our AI Development department serves as a facilitator for Data & AI transformation. We are taking a holistic approach, from the initial evaluation of AI maturity, through the design and development of data and AI solutions, to the practical implementation and scaling of AI solutions. Through our deep expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, we ensure that our clients gain the maximum value from their data.

For our AI Development team, we are looking for trainees who we will specifically prepare for their future role as Junior Consultants with a focus on Data Science within one year. You can find detailed information about our trainee program here.

Your tasks

Focus: Building and developing software applications with a focus on APIs and GenAI-based solutions in client projects
  • You work as part of project teams to design, build, and further develop software applications for clients
  • You support the identification and definition of requirements and help translate them into effective, client-oriented solutions
  • You develop and implement software solutions with a focus on APIs and GenAI-based applications across different industries and use cases
  • You support bringing developed solutions into production and contribute to stable and reliable system operations with a focus on business value
  • You assist in troubleshooting and resolving common application and system issues
  • You actively contribute to internal knowledge-sharing formats and team learning initiatives
  • You support senior consultants in their daily work, for example by helping prepare client presentations and project materials

Your profile

  • You have strong Python skills and are familiar with advanced concepts such as asynchronous programming
  • You are able to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code and apply common design and programming patterns where appropriate
  • You have experience with widely used Python frameworks and libraries such as FastAPI and Pydantic
  • Experience with data science or AI libraries such as scikit-learn or OpenAI is a plus
  • You have initial hands-on experience with GenAI-based solutions
  • You are familiar with modern Python tooling such as uv, ruff, or ty
  • You use modern coding tools, including agentic coding approaches, to increase development speed while maintaining or improving code quality
  • You communicate clearly and have good English skills and solid basic German skills, both written and spoken, with the motivation to further improve your German
  • You work in a reliable, structured, and organized manner
