Unsere AI Development-Abteilung dient als Katalysator für Data & AI Transformation. Dabei setzen wir auf eine ganzheitliche Herangehensweise, die von der initialen Evaluierung der KI-Reife über die Konzeption und Ausarbeitung der Daten- und KI-Lösung bis hin zur praktischen Umsetzung und Skalierung von KI-Lösungen reicht. Durch unsere tiefgehende Expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning sorgen wir dafür, dass unsere Kunden den maximalen Nutzen aus ihren Daten ziehen.

Deine Aufgaben

Du entwickelst moderne und skalierbare Datenarchitekturen (Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Lakehouses) und setzt performante Datenmodelle für Analytics-, ML- und AI-Use-Cases um
Du berätst unsere Kunden zu Technologien, Plattformen und Best Practices und übersetzt technische Konzepte in klar nachvollziehbare Empfehlungen für Fachbereiche und Management
Du integrierst strukturierte und unstrukturierte Datenquellen, implementierst robuste ETL-/ELT-Prozesse und stellst eine hohe Datenqualität sicher
Du baust Cloud- und On-Premises-Dateninfrastrukturen auf (Azure, AWS, GCP) und nutzt Infrastructure-as-Code sowie automatisierte Deployment- und Monitoring-Prozesse
Du beachtest Data Governance, Datenschutz und Sicherheitsanforderungen entlang der gesamten Datenwertschöpfungskette
Je nach Projekt unterstützt du moderne AI-Anwendungsfälle (z. B. Vektordatenbanken, Embeddings, RAG) durch geeignete Datenpipelines und die passende Infrastruktur
Du begleitest und unterstützt jüngere Kollegen und förderst eine teamorientierte Kultur des Wissensaustauschs und der Zusammenarbeit
Du gibst dein Wissen aktiv weiter – z. B. in Workshops, technischen Blogbeiträgen oder Präsentationen auf internen Veranstaltungen

Dein Profil

Du hast ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Masterstudium, z. B. in (Wirtschafts-)Informatik oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang
Du verfügst über mindestens fünf Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung im Bereich Data Engineering oder Datenarchitektur
Du besitzt sehr gute Kenntnisse in SQL, Python und Bash/Shell sowie in der Entwicklung effizienter, wartbarer Datenpipelines
Du hast ein fundiertes Verständnis moderner Datenarchitekturen sowie Erfahrung in Datenmodellierung und ETL-/ELT-Prozessen
Du bringst praktische Erfahrung mit Cloud-Plattformen (Azure, AWS oder GCP), verteilten Systemen (z. B. Spark, Kafka) und modernen Datenplattformen (z. B. Databricks, Snowflake) mit
Du bist vertraut mit Data Governance, Datenschutz (z. B. DSGVO) und Sicherheitsanforderungen in Cloud-Umgebungen
Idealerweise verfügst du über Kenntnisse in Infrastructure-as-Code (z. B. Terraform, Pulumi) und CI/CD-Workflows

Your tasks

Develop modern and scalable data architectures (data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses) and design high-performing data models for analytics, ML, and AI use cases
Advise clients on technologies, platforms, and best practices, translating technical concepts into clear, understandable recommendations for both business and management stakeholders
Integrate structured and unstructured data sources, implement robust ETL/ELT processes, and ensure high data quality throughout the pipeline
Build cloud and on-premises data infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP) using Infrastructure-as-Code, automated deployment processes, and monitoring systems
Consider data governance, privacy, and security requirements along the entire data value chain
Depending on the project, support modern AI applications (e.g., vector databases, embeddings, RAG) by designing the appropriate data pipelines and infrastructure
Mentor and support junior colleagues, fostering a collaborative culture of knowledge sharing and teamwork
Actively share your expertise — for example through workshops, technical blog posts, or presentations at internal events

Your profile

You have successfully completed a Master’s degree, ideally in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field
You have at least five years of relevant professional experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
You possess strong skills in SQL, Python, and Bash/Shell, and have experience developing efficient and maintainable data pipelines
You have a solid understanding of modern data architectures and experience in data modeling as well as ETL/ELT processes
You have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), distributed systems (e.g., Spark, Kafka), and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
You are familiar with data governance, data protection (e.g., GDPR), and security requirements in cloud environments
Ideally, you have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD workflows.
Experience with LLM-related data architectures (vector databases, embeddings, RAG) is a plus.
You are able to lead technical discussions and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels — including non-technical audiences
You take ownership of your work and approach challenges with a structured, detail-oriented mindset.
You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and have advanced German skills (B2 or higher), or you are willing to further improve them
